A part of my past that many people don’t know is that I used to own an advertising agency in the DFW area. From 1997 until 2006 we helped develop advertising strategies for small local, medium and very large companies.
Through this experience I learned a shit-ton of things about local advertising. But mostly, I learned that it’s not that hard to compete in a local market as long as you just do the work and get your message out there.
So, I was encouraged by a past client to put some of that down on digital paper. It’s not well written but hopefully, if you own a small business that services a geographic area in close proximity, you will get one or two nuggets from this. If you like it let me know… Thanks. Robo
